Cookulator LITE 2.1 Released! Cookulator FULL 2.1 on it’s way…

Cookulator Lite 2.1 Released

The updated version of Cookulator LITE has been released and is ready to work on iOS 11. Version 2.1 is rebuilt from the ground up to take advantage of all the up-to-date technologies but still has the familiar interface you’re used to, with a few enhancements. Cookulator FULL is also complete but, as of this writing, is in the queue for review so should be released within the week. Update delayed but back on the front burner

Hi Everyone,

Back from a hiatus and Cookulator is back on the roster for updating. It’s still going to take another little while but I wanted to make this little post so you are all in the loop.

I’m aware some users have been getting messages when opening the app that it is out of date. My apologies for that. The last update to the app was five years ago and the iOS programming language have been drastically changed since then so it is indeed in need of an update now, written in an updated language. This is my main priority for the next version to stabilize it, but I will try to add a little something else if I can too.

Thanks for your patience and thanks for using Cookulator!

Let me know how you’re using Cookulator! I always love to hear from you 🙂

Stay tuned. If you’d like to be notified when Cookulator’s update is released please join my mailing list.

All my best,
– Petra

Update Released

A new update of both Cookulator (Full) and Cookulator Lite have been released, fixing the bug with the Australian tablespoon measurement and adding some debugging and analytics functionality to track basic data (like how many times the app is opened and if there are any app crashes). This will let me tell if the apps are functioning properly and if people are using them.

It took me a while to release this update because I had to get used to the new development software, XCode4, which is TOTALLY different than the last version of the software! It had me nervous but I finally got to it and was able to update the apps with not too much difficulty.

I hope you are enjoying Cookulator! I’m always interested in your comments so please feel free to get in touch at petra@cookulator.net.

Happy Cooking!
